Summary (one sentence)

Saysame collects no personal data. Everything you create stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own private Apple iCloud account.

Data Controller

What we collect

Nothing. Saysame does not collect, transmit, log, or share any of the following:

• Your reminder titles, notes, due times, voice transcripts, or attached photos
• Your Apple ID, email address, name, or any account identifier
• Your device identifier, advertising identifier (IDFA), or any tracking ID
• Your location, contacts, calendar events, or any data from other apps
• Crash logs, analytics, usage statistics, or telemetry of any kind

Where your data lives

• On your device. All reminders, photos, lists, widget presets, and settings are stored locally in the iOS app's sandbox.
• In your private iCloud account (optional, default ON). If iCloud sync is enabled and you are signed into iCloud on this device, your data syncs across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest, takes place inside your private CloudKit database (not the public one), and is invisible to us — we have no access to your iCloud data.
• Nowhere else. No third-party server, analytics provider, advertising network, or backup service receives any of your data.

When iCloud sync is enabled, Apple stores your data in Apple's iCloud infrastructure, which may include servers located outside your country. This transfer is performed by Apple under Apple's privacy practices; we are not involved in or able to influence this transfer.

Speech recognition

Voice capture uses Apple's first-party on-device speech recognition (SFSpeechRecognizer with requiresOnDeviceRecognition = true). Your voice never leaves your iPhone. We do not record, transmit, or store audio.

A future version of Saysame may use Apple Intelligence's transcription APIs, which run on-device or — for complex queries — through Apple's Private Cloud Compute (PCC). Apple states it is technically incapable of accessing user data in PCC; we have no access either. We will update this policy if this changes.

Permissions we request

We ask only for permissions that the corresponding feature requires:

• Microphone — to capture voice when you tap the mic button
• Speech Recognition — to convert your speech to text on-device
• Camera — to take photos to attach to a reminder (only when you tap the camera button)
• Photos — never requested (we use PHPickerViewController, which doesn't require photo library permission)
• Notifications — to deliver reminder alerts at the time you set
• Face ID / Touch ID — only if you turn on app lock in Settings

You can deny any of these and the app still works for the features that don't need them.

Third-party services

None. The app makes zero network calls outside of Apple's iCloud / APNs infrastructure (which is operated by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy practices).

Saysame does not use any third-party AI services. Speech recognition is performed by Apple's on-device SFSpeechRecognizer, which is part of iOS itself and does not transmit audio to any external server.

App Tracking Transparency

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The iOS App Tracking Transparency dialog will not appear for Saysame.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment information. Subscription status is verified on-device using Apple's Transaction.currentEntitlements. See Apple's own privacy practices for App Store transactions.

Data retention and deletion

Because Saysame collects no data, we have no data to retain or delete on our side. You control all of your data directly:

• Delete an individual reminder, list, photo, or widget preset — use the corresponding in-app delete actions. Deleted reminders move to Trash and are permanently removed after 30 days; Trash can also be emptied manually from Settings → General → Empty Trash.
• Delete all data on this device — delete the Saysame app from your iPhone. iOS removes the app's sandbox, including all locally stored data.
• Delete data from your iCloud account (if iCloud sync was enabled) — open iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Saysame → Delete Data from iCloud. Apple manages this storage; we cannot access or delete it on your behalf.

Your rights

You have rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and under other privacy laws that may apply depending on where you live.

Because we collect no personal data, we hold no data on which PDPA rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection could operate. Your Right to be Informed (Section 23) is honored by this notice itself.

You may also lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) at pdpc.or.th.

Children

Saysame is a general-audience productivity app. It is not directed to children under 13. The 4+ age rating reflects the absence of objectionable content, not that the app is designed for young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (or anyone else — see "What we collect" above).

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes (new data categories, new third-party services, etc.) will trigger a new version of the app with an in-app notice.
